What We Are All About

The Chippewa Valley Sustainability Fair is a multi day fair that includes a number of anchor events throughout Earth Week. This year we are celebrating 50 years of Earth Day.

The theme for this year's fair is to ACTIVATE, in which we will be offering programming that engages community members and provides opportunities to help transform the challenges that face mankind and the world into solution based opportunities.

We will celebrate Earth Day through a number of focused activities and events throughout Earth Week.

Youth STEAM Fair-April 22rd

Full STEAM Ahead!!!

The city wide youth science fair, held at the Lismore hotel, was a watershed moment during our inaugural year in 2018. We saw our community gather to support young scientist, engineers, etc., as they embarked on a path to change the world with their gifts, talents, and abilities. For our 2019 event, expect to see area middle school students presenting in all areas of STEAM with a focus on Earth Day themes such as: sustainability, air and water quality, human-environment interaction, waste management, etc.

The afternoon judging and awards ceremony is open to the public from 4:30 - 5:30  and free to all attendees. Join us in celebrating and supporting this watershed moment in the lives of future engineers, scientists, and other aspiring professionals who will help shape our future world.
